What's VERGO-Excel
When transporting bikes by car, you usually lay down the bike on the floor or leaning to the wall. But it will cause problems such as scratching the interior, the bikes will hit each other, and sometimes bike will give damage to other cargo if you drive hard.
In addition, you should regularly watch the bikes through the mirror to check if they are sitting stable. It is not good for your safety drive.
VERGO-Excel is a base bar device to mount bikes in the style that the holder clamps the front fork. It's clean and safe.
Features on VERGO-Excel-S
VERGO-Excel-S is the shorter version for mounting just one bike.
The bar length is only 490mm so it's hard to stand the bike alone. You should use this model to hold the bike in the style that the front fork is put in the foot space in the rear seat. VERGO-Excel-S is used as the base.
If you wish to stand the bike on the cargo area as same as the standard version, hold the bike with a long strap or belt to prevent from falling down problem.
Fork Mount
The fork mount is installed by clamping the base bar from up and bottom. It allows you to move the fork mount from side to side as you want.
The fork mount is also angle adjustable in every 20 degrees, but it's not recommended to twist the fork due to short bar length.
VERGO-Excel-S comes with a fork mount for standard 9mm Q/R axle (100mm hub width).
It's impossible to mount two bikes by adding one more fork mount.

Just Put on the Floor, Super Easy
The modified points from previous VERGO
What you need is just putting VERGO-Excel-S on the car floor. You don't need to do anything to your car like drilling or welding at all.
The main frame is changed from a low profile steel tubing to a diamond dimension light alloy.
On the previous VERGO-S, the Fork Mount was located in the center long hole of the main bar, so certain weight and stabilizer were necessary to prevent from rolling problem.
We completely changed the basic design to solve this problem by offsetting the fork mounting position away from the main bar. This allows to remove the stabilizer and reduce the weight.
New Fork Mount
Using quick release lever for easier usage
VERGO-Excel-S has newly designed Fork Mount.
Fork Mount is off-set from the main bar to work as a stabilizer to avoid rolling problem even if you start rapidly.
The quick release lever helps you to adjust the bike position smoothly.
The fork mounting part is angle adjustable in every 20 degrees.
Our Front Fork Mount fits 100mm width front wheel hub only. Any other sizes such as 75mm are not compatible.
Optional Fork Mount
In addition to 20mm, 15mm thru axle type is available
VERGO-Excel-S comes with a 9mm quick release skewer type fork mount. By replacing it to the optional one, you can mount the bike with 20 mm thru axle hub found on DH bike or the latest 15 mm thru axle hub for 4X bike.
Our Front Fork Mount fits 100mm width front wheel hub only. Any other sizes such as 75mm are not compatible.

Cautions
Important Notices
- The bike on VERGO-Excel-S is not fixed to the car. Do not apply hard braking, rapid accelerating and hard cornering, otherwise the bike will be moved in the car and cause damages to your car and bikes. To prevent any possible troubles, we recommend you to hold the bike with a tie-down rope to the car body.
- The bike stability must be decreased when the fork is twisted because the body must lean slightly by the fork's caster angle. Use a tie-down rope in this style.
- If the roof height is too low, the bike cannot be stored in the car. Check if your car is tall enough by lifting up the front fork 10 cm above the floor.
- Some cars are too short to store the bike. At this time, remove the rear wheel too and use the optional Rear End Support to hold the frame.
- When closing the rear hatch, make sure the handlebar doesn't conflict the rear window then close gently.
- The bike on VERGO-Excel-S must be backward or forward. Sideward setting is not stable against your car actions, so we don't recommend it.
- Not compatible with Cannondale "Lefty" front suspension fork.
- Fits 100mm width front wheel hub only. Not compatible with any other sizes such as 75mm.
