SS-700 SpinningStand II
Ridable Maintenance Stand
Not just for standing a bike, you can get on the bike to apply load for simulating more realistic condition.
To maintain rear suspension or derailleur, it's crucial to apply 1G load for expecting the best result. SS-700 is made based on our indoor trainer frame so it's no problem to get on the bike on it. The max load is 100 kgs.
Before using SS-700, replace the rear wheel quick release skewer to the supplied one. SS-700 has no compatibility with any other skewers.
The hub clamping mechanism is changed to a quick release type, so you can clamp/release the bike in just one action.
Also SS-700 can be used as a display stand in shop.
Sometimes the customer has gotten on the bike on a stand to check the frame size, however, any normal stand cannot accept such big load (human body weight) then the bike will have to fall down or damaged. SS-700 is durable enough to avoid such problem.
SS-600

Thanks to the trainer based frame
SS-700 is made based on our latest M series trainer, so it accepts up to 100 kgs load.
For example, you should wish to push down the saddle strongly to check how the rear suspension works. But any normal stand cannot accept such big load then the bike will have to be released from the stand and fall down in worst case.
If the bike is on SS-700, you will be free from this kind of problem.
Coupling
Fits the supplied skewer only
The rear hub clamping mechanism is changed from a plain screw handle type to a quick release lever type. By this modification, we can shorten the time for clamping/releasing the bike to/from SS-700 significantly and it gives convenience to everyone.
On the previous SS-600, the metal coupling shape was designed to fit Shimano or its compatible skewers (the quick lever comes from the side).
However, the new coupling on SS-700 fits the supplied quick release skewer only in order to guarantee the stability and safety. Any other skewer cannot be used on SS-700.
On the other hand, by replacing the skewer, you become to be able to mount the bike with Campagnolo or Fulcrum's too wide lever skewer which didn't fit to our old coupling.
If your bike is not quick release type but a plain hub nut type, or your bike is so old that the hub width is narrower than 120mm, you need to replace the left side coupling bolt to the optional longer one.

Cautions
Important Notes
- Make sure all 4 foot points are touching the floor at once to expect maximum stability.
- Replace the rear wheel quick release skewer to the supplied one when you get on the bike on SS-700. We are not responsible at all if you ignore this caution.
- It's impossible to install any resistance unit onto SS-700 to change it to an indoor trainer.
