Ridable bike stand
Not only standing a bike, you can ride it on to apply load for checking rear suspension or maintaining rear derailleur. For those maintenance, it should be good to apply 1G load to simulate more realistic condition.
SS-600 is based on an indoor bike trainer, so it is no problem if you get on.
The couplings hold the bike very stably. Mounting is easy by just turning the handle.
Other than maintenance purpose, SS-600 can be used as a super durable display stand in shop to prevent the accident that someone get on the displayed bike and fall it down.

Super durability because of trainer frame
SS-600 is made based on M50 trainer frame, so it can accept up to 100 kgs load.
For example, you usually push down the bike strongly by applying your own weight to the saddle when you need to check the rear suspension action. But the standard bike stand cannot allow such heavy load and the bike will have to be removed and may fall down.
If the bike is placed on SS-600, you can prevent such accident.
Coupling Design
Fits most types of quick release skewer
The coupling on SS-600 is made of durable metal piece to support heavy weight including human body.
The left side (quick lever side) coupling has a large cut-out to escape from the problem that the quick lever has touched the coupling before the acorn part is inserted into the coupling then the hub won't be clamped enough.
The coupling is designed to fit most type of quick release skewers available in the market, but it is basically designed to fit Shimano type (quick lever comes from the side) mainly.
The skewers such as;
1) the lever is too wide like as Campagnolo or Fulcrum
2) the quick lever cannot be bent over right angle like as Bontrager or Salsa, or
3) the lever shape is a rod type
are not compatible with our coupling.
For those who are using these kinds of skewers must replace to the optional "Minoura Trainer Skewer". Any other trainer specialized skewer (available from other trainer brands) is not compatible with our coupling shape.
You can use our trainer skewer for your daily riding too.
Nut type hub can be used on SS-600 without any modification.
Cautions
Important Notices
- Fully open the legs, and make sure all 4 points are touching the floor perfectly at once.
- If you just put the bike on SS-600, you don't have to replace the rear quick release skewer. But if you need to apply 1G load or to get on the bike, you must replace the skewer to the correct one. We will not take any responsibility to any accidents caused by using your own skewer.
- SS-600 does not come with the skewer. Purchase separately.
- SS-600 is made based on our trainer frame but it doesn't have any bracket to mount a resistance unit.
