Minoura Japan – LEVEL-170H

LEVEL-170H

Race support stand

Easy transportable storage

At cycling events it is always hard to park bikes, because competitive bikes have no kick stands and there is usually no bike racks available.
The LEVEL-170H is an easy-to-carry, easy-to-use and convenient stand to hold the bikes by hooking the saddle nose over the cross bar. This will keep the bikes from becoming accidentally damaged by falling over or lying on the ground.
Because it uses the saddle for hanging up, it can be used for all styles of bikes.
The cross bar is 1.7 meters in length, which in general can hold up to 5 bikes.

No tools required for assembling/disassembling

Just open the bottom of the leg assembly, which closed the top around the cross bar. Repeat for the other side and that's all.
You can finish the assembly/disassembly, without any tools, in less than a minute.

Construction

The stand is made up out of 3 pieces, the crossbar and 2 leg assemblies. They are made of durable steel tubing and are anti-rust plated, with a paint finish. The hinges for the leg assembly are chrome plated for strength and the feet have plastic end caps.

Super Easy Assembly/Disassembly

No tools required for assembling/disassembling

Just open the bottom of the leg assembly, which closed the top around the cross bar. Repeat for the other side and that's all.
You can finish the assembly/disassembly, without any tools, in just one minute.

The leg assembly clamp opening is adjustable by changing the pivot position of the bracket. It will fit multiple sizes of diameter, being approximate 25, 32 and 38mm (the standard bar diameter is 38mm).

Super Easy Mounting

Just hook the saddle nose onto the bar

Roll the bike backwards under the cross bar, lift the bike up and hook the seat onto the bar, done!
The bike now hangs from the saddle and the front wheel keeps the bike stable. If the bikes saddle is quite low, it might lift the whole bike off the ground, which means the bike wheels are no longer on the ground. This means the bike will move around a little, but is much better then the bike lying around.
You will usually set the uprights on the outer edge of the cross bar, but for awkward design bikes it is sometimes easier to set them a little inwards and allow one bike to be hung outside the uprights.

Cautions

Important Notices

  • The front wheel usually touches the ground, but if the bike size is too small or the salle height is too low against the bar height, both front and rear wheels will be off from the ground. It could be unstable.
  • The bar has anti-rusting zinc plated finish so the surface is a little rough like as a file. If you slide the saddle on the rail, the backside of saddle may be scratched and worn out. To avoid this problem, we recommend you to apply bar tapes or cut old tire pieces around the bar.
  • Be careful not to pinch your finger and palm when clamping the bar.
  • LEVEL-170H looks like a horizontal bar for exercise, but don't get on it.
