Space saving bike storage stand
The DS-4000 is a bike storage stand that holds the front wheel in a raised cradle.
When a standard sized bike is fitted to the stand, the bike will be angled upwards by about 60 degrees. This results in a much shorter foot print of the bike.
This stand is great for areas with limited space.
Note: the stand cannot be used with the rear wheel lifted upwards.
Wheel Cradle
he display comes with 3 wheel cradles. Each cradle can swivel around, to suit the area where it is placed, as well as moved along the upper bar. Extra cradles can be added, allowing for up to 5 bikes, either on opposite sides or fanned on one side.
The front wheel is supported in the XL-sized cradle, which has a very stable hold on the bike. There is no need to hold the bike additionally.
The standard cradle width is designed to suit MTB tires up to 2.35". If you have narrow road tire bikes, the wheel sit slightly slanted, but this can be improved by fitting the supplied spacer on the bottom of the cradle.
Height Adjustable
The wheel cradles are installed on the top bar. This bar is position adjustable in 3 levels, for the best possible fit, depending on the bikes fitted.
The finishing is to the usual high Minoura standard and the unit will last for many years

Easy Parking
Just lift the front wheel and insert the wheel into the cradle
You can only put front wheels into the cradles, because the other way around the front wheel/handlebar will turn instantly away and cause havoc.

By setting the cradles under an angle instead of straight, the handlebars won't hit each other, maximising storge as well as easier entry/exit.

Cautions
Important Notices
- You must insert the front wheel in the cradle. If you place the bike upside down, the front wheel will have to be steered and cannot support the bike weight.
- You can minimize the bike storage space by twisting the bikes, but this style will have to decrease the stability. The best angle is the right angle to the bar.
- Sand-black powder coat painting is very durable, but it doesn't mean it won't get rust.
- The foot cap is made of elastomer so it may stain to floor depends on the floor finish. To avoid this problem, you should place a thin paper sheet between the cap and floor.
