Store horizontally for convenience
Simply roll the bike into the wheel holder and you are done.
It is best to roll the rear wheel in, because it is more stable in the bike. If you like to roll the front wheel in the stand, please make sure the handlebar is straight, or the off balance weight might cause the bike stand to fall over
The upright arm is not required for horizontal storage and can be removed.
Store vertically for less footprint
Simply adjust the tire holder to your tire size, roll the rear wheel in, and hook the front wheel to the upright post.
Stable Storage/Display bikes from 20"-29"
There are always at least 3 contact areas for your bike with the DS-2100 stand, for a very secure hold, whichever way you use it.
For the first time usage you only need to adjust the wheel contacts for your size wheel.
Start by adjusting the bottom wheel holder, by using the wheel size guideline stickers. Then place your bike in the stand and adjust the top wheel holder to come in contact with the tire, done.
The stand is now ready for Horizontal storing and if done correctly, there will be no reason why the bike will fall over from the horizontal position.
For Vertical storing, you need to additionally adjust the Post height.
There are 2 settings and as long as you can slip the wheel onto the hook, it is OK.
Front Wheel Hook
The hook is covered with soft foamed urethane to prevent damage to the rim. If the wheel is repeatedly hooked up roughly, this will damage the urethane and it will no longer protect the rim from damage.

Cautions
Important Notes
- DS-2100 is not fixed to the floor but just put on the floor. It could loose balance and may fall off if you hit the stand while the bike is on in vertical style.
- It may not be possible to setup DS-2100 just next to the wall because you need to hook the front wheel. Also depending on the bike and wheelbase size may not allow this setting up.
- You cannot set the bike up-side-down.
- Precisely adjust the tire holder position prior to using DS-2100. Wrong position cannot hold the bike securely.
- You cannot connect DS-2100 stands.
