The 1st generation MAGTURBO trainers have been RECALLED since July 2000.
We applied the recall to the 1st generation "Magturbo" series trainers (made in 1987 - 1993) in July 2000.

The applicable models have;
1) Red, blue or yellow EXPOSED cast zinc flywheel
2) The inner side of the flywheel have 4 visible DENTS by the mold pins.

If your model matches either one of the following conditions, it is NOT recalled.
1) Internal flywheel system covered with a big plastic housing
2) Forged brass flywheel (the base metal color is gold, not gray)
3) The exposed flywheel does not have the 4 visible dents,

The recalled flywheel may contain bubbles inside while it was manufactured in factory, so it may explode while it is spinning at very high speed during workout. The exploded flywheel could heavily injury you, your neighbor and cause serious damage to your facilities.
STOP USING RECALLED TRAINER IMMEDIATELY and contact Minoura or your local Minoura dealer as soon as possible. We shall supply a replacement Mag resistance unit for you at free of charge.
