Universal quick clamping device

Easy operation

Space-Mount is a universal clamping device you can open/close with just lever operation.
The unique side adjust screw allows the clamp to fit 22 - 29mm diameter (SM-2229) or 28 - 35mm diameter (SM-2835) flexibly.

As the mounting base

The clamp body has totally three M5 threaded holes, so you can combine the existing adaptor with Space-Mount to modify to a quick release type.
Each hole pitch is 7.5mm. You can hold any adaptor firmly if it has 15mm pitch two holes. Of course, you can install by using the center hole only.

Cautions

Important Notices

  • Push down the lock lever AFTER adjusting the clamp opening size with the side screw. You can tighten the clamp after closing by tightening the side screw, but it will not give enough power and the item may fall down.
  • Make sure the side screw is completely retracted when closing the lever. If the side screw has been lifted up, the clamp doesn't work properly.
  • When you lift up the lever, use your binger body, not by the nail. The lever is strongly closed so you may have injury on nail.
  • The clamp may break the outer cable if you install over the brake or shifter cable due to the strong clamping power. You should escape from the cable to avoid such problem.
  • For round dimension tubing only. Any other dimension will not work.
  • M3 hex wrench for changing the clamp direction doesn't come with Space-Mount. Purchase separately. You are not allowed to use a foldable pocket tool set, use the standard L-style hex wrench.
  • Minoura is not responsible to any theft problem while parking due to the quick release mechanism. You should take the item off when you park bike.
