Lightweight & durable Duralumin bottle cage
A cage for normal poly water bottle for bikes.
Dura-Cage is made of lightweight and durable #2017 Duralumin which is adopted on aircrafts.
It's much stronger than the normal #5056 light-alloy material, so it can have same durability with narrower diameter that means we can expect lighter weight for same durability.
AB100-4.5 has 4.5 mm diameter material for the roadies who need lighter weight, It weights only 38 grams. You can get same effect with tremendously cheaper cost than carbon bottle cage.
AB100-5.5 has 5.5 mm diameter material for MTB riders who need durability rather than lighter weight. Of course, it can be used on road bikes.
Its weight 54 grams is not different to standard alloy bottle cage, but its durability is same to 7 mm diameter normal material.
Both models come with two M5x12 mounting screws. They are also made of same #2017 Duralumin material. It's good for those who want to make everything lighter.
White color is powder coating, and other colors are anodized.

World exclusive material for Minoura
There are many grades on light alloy material depending on the raw material combination;
#1000 series: Pure Aluminum with over 99.9% purity. Coefficient of thermal conductivity and electricity.
#2000 series: Includes Copper to increase durability and hardness by heat-treating. Called as Duralumin (#2017) or Super-Duralumin (#2024).
#3000 series: Includes Manganese to soften the material for easy-to-work.
#4000 series: Includes Silicon to increase abrasion quality.
#5000 series: Includes Magnesium for anti-rust and easy-to-work.
#6000 series: Includes Magnesium and Silicon to be anti-rust. Good for extrusion.
#7000 series: Includes Zinc and Magnesium. The most durable but easy-to-rust. Called as Super-Super-Duralumin.
Most alloy parts are made of #5056. Aluminum sash is made of #6061.
Our Dura-Cage is made of #2017 which is exclusive to Minoura. Duralumin is usually adopted on aircrafts. It's lightweight, durable and last long. Welding is a little difficult but we have solved this problem with our own technique.

Cautions
Important Notices
- Dura-Cage is designed to fit on normal poly water bottle for bike. It's not compatible with any other drinking bottles or cans.
- Pull out the bottle straightly. Pulling bottle sideward or upward will cause damage on welding part.
- The included mounting screw is made of alloy, so don't tighten so strongly.
